This Privacy Policy explains how BULLBAR (“BULLBAR”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit bullbarfit.com (the “Site”), buy from us, or contact us.

Who we are

The Site is operated by BULLBAR, based in Sandy, Utah, United States. BULLBAR is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, email support@bullbarfit.com.

Information we collect

  • Device and browsing information. Browser type, IP address, time zone, cookie identifiers, the pages and products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site. Collected automatically through cookies, pixels and similar technologies. Used to run the Site, keep it secure, measure how it is used, and (with your consent where required) for advertising.
  • Order information. Name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment information. Collected from you at checkout. Used to process payment, ship your order, send order and shipping updates, handle returns and warranty claims, and screen orders for fraud. Card details are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Customer support information. Your name, email address, order number, the content of your messages, and any photos you send (for example, of a damaged delivery). Collected from you when you contact us. Used to answer your request and resolve returns, claims and warranty issues.
  • Marketing information. Your email address and, if you opt in, your mobile number, plus your preferences and how you interact with our emails and texts. Collected from you when you subscribe. Used to send the messages you asked for.
  • Reviews. Your name, rating, review text and any photos you choose to submit after a purchase. Collected from you. Published on the Site if you submit a review.

How we use your information, and our legal bases

We use personal information to provide the Site and our products, process and deliver orders, provide customer support, send marketing you have agreed to, measure and improve the Site, advertise our products, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we rely on these legal bases: contract (to process and deliver your order and support it afterwards), consent (for marketing emails and texts, and for non-essential cookies and advertising pixels), legitimate interests (to secure the Site, prevent fraud, and understand how the Site is used), and legal obligation (for tax, accounting and consumer-law records). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only for the purposes above:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes checkout. Shopify’s privacy policy.
  • Payment providers (including Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay), to process payments.
  • Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners (including FedEx, UPS and DPD, and our warehouses), to deliver your order.
  • Klaviyo, which sends our marketing emails and texts.
  • Reviews.io, which sends review requests and hosts our product reviews.
  • Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok, for analytics and advertising. See “Advertising” below.

We may also disclose information to comply with the law, respond to a lawful request such as a subpoena or warrant, or protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and pixels to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and measure and personalize advertising. Visitors in the UK and EEA are asked for consent before non-essential cookies are set, and can change that choice at any time through the cookie banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features of the Site may not work without them.

Advertising

We work with Google, Meta and TikTok to show our ads to people who have visited the Site or may be interested in our products. These partners may collect information about your activity on the Site through cookies and pixels. You can limit personalized advertising here:

SMS / text message communications

If you provide your mobile phone number to us, we will only use it to send you the communications you have requested or consented to receive. We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your mobile phone number to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Message frequency varies based on your activity and preferences. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at support@bullbarfit.com.

Email marketing

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link at the bottom of any email. We will still send emails about your orders.

Your privacy choices (United States)

Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to get a copy of it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. To opt out of targeted advertising, use our Your Privacy Choices page. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser. For any other request, email support@bullbarfit.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Your rights (United Kingdom and European Economic Area)

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy in a portable format, to restrict or object to how we use it (including for direct marketing), and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email support@bullbarfit.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EEA, the authority in the country where you live.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information out of the UK or EEA, we rely on recognized safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as we need them to fulfill and support your order, handle returns and warranty claims, and meet tax and accounting requirements, which is generally up to seven years. We keep marketing information until you unsubscribe, and support correspondence for as long as it is needed to resolve your request and any follow-up.

Automated decision-making

We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud, such as temporarily blocking IP addresses and cards associated with repeated failed transactions. These blocks last a few hours to a few days and do not have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
